Speed and flexibility are watchwords at Toro Shelters

Two of the greatest advantages of the shelters we provide here at Toro Shelters, Bristol, are the minimal time taken between placing an order and a required structure being erected, and the flexibility with regard to the numerous types of shelter we are able to provide. In many industries there is a continual need for temporary shelters, including mining camps, oil and gas exploration, waste management, the Armed Forces, and boatbuilding/maintenance.

Each and every one of our structures can be adapted and adjusted to fit very specific needs and the one thing we do not operate is a ‘one size fits all’ policy. You provide us with the dimensions of a shelter you require, or a specific internal capacity, and we will design it to meet its exact purpose. Owing to the modular construction using galvanised steel framing and a tensioned laminated PVC cover with UV protection, you will be amazed at the speed in which we can have one of our temporary shelters.

Where containment structures are concerned, in many instances rapid installation of decontamination shelters is imperative and not only are we able to provide the perfect structures, but we have a highly skilled team of directors who also operate under strict Health and Safety guidelines. In particular, our trademarked SafeShelter has proven success, while bespoke containment shelters can be erected to provide a safe C2 – C5 working environment.

As we have mentioned in a previous article, the need for a temporary salt barn can be determined on the release of a long-range weather forecast, but reserves of salt have to be stockpiled in advance. In the marine environment, a temporary shelter may need to be provided for a larger than usual boat, and with the clever use of shipping containers, a suitable structure with sufficient height (often the greatest problem) can be erected within days of ordering.

Here at Toro Shelters we like to see ourselves as a reactive company and we are very much geared towards the nature of requests from our clients from all over the world. We don’t all have the luxury of being able to plan far ahead, so here we have designed structures that can withstand harsh elements for a lifespan in excess of 25 years, yet ones which are lightweight and easily moved, making them even more adaptable and flexible.
